OLETA DANIELS
Due to inclement weather, the Graveside services for Dora Oleta Daniels, 87, of Ravenna, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 in Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Stephen Murden will officiate. Oleta passed away Monday night, Jan. 31, 2011 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy.
Oleta was born March 26, 1923 in Mineola, Texas, daughter of Oliver McKinley Busby and Pearl Treadway Busby. She attended Duncan school and married Hollis Joe Daniels in 1984. Oleta enjoyed flowers, cooking and watching animals and birds. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mamie Nichols and Nell James and a brother, L. G. Busby.
Oleta is survived by ~
Husband, Hollis Joe Daniels of Ravenna;
Daughter, Sue Smith of Sherman;
Stepsons, Clinton Daniels (Janet) of Sherman,
Hollis Daniels, Jr. (Laurie) of Tioga, TX;
Stepdaughters, Joyce Little (Roger) of Howe,
Shirley Arrington (Tim) of Florida;
Brothers, W. D. "Dee" Busby (Becky) of Athens,
James Busby of Merrit, TX;
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
