Donna Kay Cranson

Funeral Services for Donna Kay Cranson, age 69, of Bokchito, Oklahoma will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Rev. Mike Burt will officiate. Burial will follow at Duplex Cemetery in Duplex Community, Fannin County, Texas. Donna passed away Monday evening, August 15, 2022, lovingly surrounded by family at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, Texas.

Donna was born on June 16, 1953, in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Robert Leroy Lorance and Joveta Grant Lorance. She was a Bonham High School graduate. Donna married Frank Vernon Cranson on June 2, 1972. They were married for 50 years prior to her passing. Donna enjoyed preparing her home for holidays and any time spent with her children and grandchildren, and visitors were always welcome. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Family was her everything. She made sure to attend every baseball, softball, basketball, and football game where she could cheer on and support her grandchildren and their families. She will be greatly missed. Donna is preceded in death by her parents.

Donna is survived by husband, Frank Cranson of Bokchito, Oklahoma; son, John Cranson and wife Mandi of Farmersville, Texas; daughter, Kayla Dunham and husband Larry of Farmersville, Texas; brothers, Rob Lorance and Jim Lorance, both of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Landon Dunham, Garrett Cranson, Kodi Dunham, Valerie Cranson, and Jagar Copeland; great grandson, Sebastian Copeland; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Landon Dunham, Jagar Copeland, Keith Pelton, Robert Pelton, Douglas Spruill, and Brandon Spruill.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.
