Funeral services for Denel Carole Redman, 64, of Ector, will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 14, 2014 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rickey Robbins and Paul Wildrick will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector, Texas. The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM till service time Friday. Denel passed on to her reward Wednesday morning, March 12, 2014 at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas.

Denel was born October 27, 1949 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Huel Denton Redman and Nelda Rhea Owen Redman. She was a 1968 graduate of Ector High School and in 1972 she received her Bachelors degree in Social Work from East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. She later returned to ETSU and received her Masters degree in Elementary Education.

Denel worked for the Department of Human Resources in Bonham and Greenville, Texas and taught elementary school in Quinlan, Texas.

Denel leaves behind a son, Jake Rainbolt of Commerce, Texas; a daughter, Amanda Rainbolt of Denison, Texas; mother, Nelda Redman of Ector, Texas; sister, Karen Garcia and husband, Daniel of Ector, Texas; two grandchildren, Micheal Rainbolt and Elisabeth Rainbolt both of Converse, Texas; and a nephew, Gary Lon Redman, II of Dallas, Texas.

Denel was preceded in death by her father and her beloved brother, Gary Redman.

Pallbearers will be Jake Rainbolt, Daniel Garcia, Lonnie Redman, Tony Garcia, Ray Garcia and Jr. McDowell.
