David Craig Van Note

David Craig Van Note passed away on March 14, 2024 at Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham Texas.

David was born on August 23, 1954 in Gainesville, Texas. He attended Gainesville Schools from the first grade. David enlisted into the Army and served in Vietnam and Germany. He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd E. "Shorty" and Rena Faye; and his brother Mark. He is survived by three children, Robert, Jennifer and Jeffery of Florida; his sister Paula Paschal and brother in law Dusty Paschal of The Colony Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

David's faith and devotion to God sustained him during many years of fighting for his life due serious health issues. There will be a celebration of David's life at 2:00pm Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 120 E Mulberry St. Suite A, Sherman, TX.
