Savoy, Texas --A memorial for David Wayne Morrison, Sr., 54, of Savoy, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 16, 2011 at his residence. David passed away early Monday, January 10, 2011 at his residence.
David was born Aug. 5, 1956 in Niceville, Florida, the son of Thomas Charles Morrison, Sr. and Opal Faye Hunter Morrison. He attended schools in Celina and Grapevine, Texas. David served in the US Marine Corp. He married Theresa Mary Rackard, May 2, 1992 in Commerce, Texas, and she preceded him in death, July 18, 2009. David worked as a contractor in plumbing, air conditioning and carpentry.
He was a good man who loved his family and enjoyed helping them and spending time with them. He also enjoyed building furniture and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his father.
Surviving are 4 Sons: David Wayne Morrison, Jr. of Howe, TX
Joshua Thomas Morrison and Michael Ray Morrison, both of Savoy
Scott Morrison of Anna
