Funeral services for Carl Dalon Brakebill, 62, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Troy Miles will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. Dalon passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 23, 2015 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Dalon was born January 12, 1953 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Joseph William Brakebill and Thelma Bonnie Bee Moore Brakebill. He was a 1971 graduate of Bonham High School and received his Associates of Applied Science degree from Grayson County College. Dalon attended the Solid Rock Pentecostal Church of God. He was a farmer and rancher and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and motorcycles, especially Harley's. He loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed collecting knives, guns and coins. Dalon was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Carl Dalon Brakebill, Jr. and brother, Roy Hunter Brakebill.
Dalon is survived by his three daughters, Carla Ann Crouse and Tracy Garner (Todd), all of Denison, Texas and Britney Richardson (Travis) of Bonham, Texas; Fiance, Margie Holmsley of Bonham, Texas;
Grandchildren, Cassidy Brakebill, Justin Crouse, Cody Crouse, Tiffany Fairbrother (Luke), Taylor Garner and fiancé, Andrew, Toby Garner and one on the way; Great grandchildren, Ian Shelton, Addison Jackson, Demi Jackson and Trypp Crouse.
