Dale Lide

Funeral services for Theo Dale Lide, 74, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, Jan. 21, 2014 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. Dale passed away Friday morning, Jan. 17, 2014 at Beacon Hill in Denison, Texas surrounded by family and loved ones.
Dale was born Nov. 20, 1939 in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Theo Lide and Velma Hudgens Lide. He was a graduate of Shallowater High School and attended Lubbock Christian University. Dale married Brenda Biggerstaff in 1995. He was a US Army veteran and was retired from the US Post Office, Plano Wildcat Station. Dale owned and operated Lide Leaded Glass Company where he worked with stained glass and leaded glass doors and windows. He enjoyed traveling, raising Hereford cattle, woodworking and being with his family. Dale was preceded in death by his parents and a son, John Christopher Lide (1985).
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Lide of Bonham, Texas,
daughters, Tammy Mayfield of Leonard, Texas, Brandy Daniels of Bailey, Texas and Tara Fitzwater of Sherman, Texas, brother, Larry Lide and wife, Susan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Michelle and Bo Daniels and Madison McIntosh.
