D. Ann Gorman

Graveside services for D. Ann Jones Gorman, 79, of Richardson, Texas, formerly of Bailey, Texas, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, Nov. 21, 2020 in Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Mr. Kevin Davis and great nephew, Steven Conely will officiate.

1. Ann passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020 at Texas Health-Denton Hospital.

1. Ann was born October 29, 1941 in Bailey, Texas, the daughter of J. D. Jones, Sr. and Hazel Lorene Burk Jones. She was a graduate of Bailey High School and received her Masters degree in Education from East Texas State University. D. Ann was a teacher in the Richardson ISD for 40 years where she touched the lives of countless students.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bailey, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, J. D. Jones, Jr., her niece, Karen Leddy and numerous aunts and uncles.

1. Ann is survived by her sister-in-law, Sherry Jones; great nephews, Steven Doyle Conely and wife, Heather and Jack Dylan Conely and wife, Jadelyn, all of Rowlett, TX; and great great nephew, Kaladin Conely; numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until service time Saturday morning.
