Cynthia Kay "Cindy" Hall

Memorial Services for Cynthia Kay Hall "Cindy", 63 of Bonham will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Wise Funeral Home. Dr. Al Taylor will officiate. Cindy lost her battle with cancer on January 11, 2016 at her home in Bonham, Texas, surrounded by her family.

Cindy was born in Vernon, Texas on July 9, 1952, the daughter of John and Joan Long. She graduated from Borger High School in 1970 and she also attended Grayson County College where she studied cosmetology and she opened her own beauty shop in Tom Bean, Texas in 1980.In October 1983 she met her soul mate Kenneth Hall and they married April 18, 1984 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed being a homemaker for several years until 1994 when they proudly opened Eagle Screen Printing in Bonham where the family run business thrived for over 20 years. Her calling came later in life than most people, when she decided to return to school and pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. She walked the stage to receive her Associates of Liberal Arts Degree in May of 2015 from Collin College of McKinney, TX. She was extremely elated to learn she had been accepted to Texas A&M University but unfortunately was not able to begin classes as she was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer only a month after graduating from Collin College.

Cindy is survived by her parents, John & Joan Long of Borger, TX; Two brothers, Danny Long & wife Teresa of Borger, TX and James Long & wife Robyn of Amarillo, TX; Mother-in-law, Ruth Hall of Bonham, TX; Two sisters-in-law, Linda & Judy Hall of Bonham, TX; Her children include Skyla Ashworth of Bonham, TX, Kelly Burkhalter & wife Kellie of Corinth, TX, Stephanie South & husband Tommy of Bonham, TX and Meagan Hall of Bonham, TX. A stepson, Kenneth Hall Jr. of Onalaska, TX and a stepdaughter, Stephanie Chalk of Beeville, TX. Eight grandchildren, Hilary Ashworth, Kacie & Kaden Burkhalter, Rebecca & Jessica South, Abigail Hall, Alexis Moore and Lillian Wilmoth. Three great grandchildren, Riley, Tai & Kirah. A host of numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

The family will receive friends at the Creative Arts Center located at 200 W. 5th in Bonham at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 16, 2016.
