Connie Carnell Pratt

Connie Carnell Pratt passed away on August 28, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Dallas, TX on August 17, 1948 to R.L. Pete and Winona Sims. Connie Married Charles Pratt on February 3,1967 and they had two sons, Grady and Richard. Connie enjoyed canning vegetables from her garden, sewing square dance dresses, and playing the piano. Of all the things she enjoyed nothing compared to being Nanny to her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered for watching scary movies with them and taking them on Burger King runs before school. Faith was very important to Connie and her family knows that she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Connie is preceded in death by husband, Charles Pratt, parents, R.L. and Winona Sims Samples, sister, Shelly Samples, and brother, Raymond Sims.

Those left to carry on her legacy, sons, Grady Pratt and wife Cynthia, Richard Pratt and wife Kathryn, grandchildren, J.L. Pratt and wife Kayla, Shelby Pratt Fox and husband Jonathan, Chase Whitten, Khristian Salters, special grandchildren, Natalee Morales, Jacob Morales, Remi Grace, sisters, Stacie Durham and husband Jim, Phyllis Richardson and husband Wayne, sister -in-law, Judy Sims.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 31, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm at Wise Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place the following day Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 2pm in Edhube, TX @ Hampton Cemetery with John Lindsey officiating.
