Connie Fae Baur

A Visitation for Connie Fae Baur, age 68, of Bonham, Texas will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Wise Funeral Home. Connie passed away early Monday morning, October 24, 2022, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

Connie was born on February 19, 1954, in Grapevine, Texas, the daughter of LC Dyer and JoAnn Parrish Dyer. She was the proud owner of E. L. Finney's Antique store on the square in Bonham, Texas. Her love for antiques was proudly displayed there. Connie never met a stranger. One of her favorite things to do was to meet and chat with people who visited her store. She was an intelligent woman, but as her family fondly remembers, she could have her blonde moments. This just made Connie more endearing. She was always willing to help someone, especially if that someone was of the feline persuasion. She absolutely adored cats, especially her "daughter" Monster. Connie's favorite song was "Always and Forever" by Heatwave. When you listen to it, imagine her singing it at the top of her lungs, smiling from ear to ear. Connie loved music, often making up her own songs throughout the day. Along with making up her own songs, Connie also wrote poetry. She also enjoyed movies, any genre, no matter the year they were made. Connie believed in second chances, and gave many, especially to the people she cared for the most. She married James Patrick Baur on March 22, 2022, at Pearl Chinese in Grapevine, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Connie's generous heart and kind soul will be greatly missed.

Connie is survived by her husband, Patrick Baur of Bonham, Texas; parents, LC and JoAnn Dyer; sons, Quinn Nguyen and wife Anna of Corinth, Texas, Keith Nguyen and wife Sarah of Hurst, Texas, Farrell Nguyen and wife DeNiya of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Kenneth Belling; daughters, Mickie Wagner and husband Steven of Denton, Texas, Kelsey Nguyen of Lewisville, Texas, Kathie Parsons of Salem, Oregon, and Shelly Clothier; sisters, Debbi Franks and husband Kirk of Nevada, Texas and Sherry Dillehay of Melissa, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Austin, Kaylie, Addie, Olivia, Eisley, Ellie, Piper, Everly, Presley, and Ethan; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
