Cole Marion Clifton

Cole Marion Clifton passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on July 31, 2023.

Cole was born to parents Walter and Dana Clifton on January 16, 1972 in Dallas, Texas. The family moved to Bonham, Texas when Cole was at the tender age of 4. Small town was at the heart of Cole. He was well known by all and never met a stranger. Cole loved his wife Sabrina dearly and his children and grand children were the loves of his life. Cole was a jack of all trades and a plumber by profession. When he was not with family you would find Cole working on the farm. He often took his beloved bride Sabrina on date night and this consisted of riding the golf cart and checking on the cows. Cole also enjoyed going to gun and classic car shows. Cole was a teacher at heart. If you didn't know the answer or understand a problem, Cole could teach you. He will be forever remembered for his giving spirit, competitive game of chess, and love for his favorite dog, Blue Boy. Cole never gave up and fought cancer for 6 months with every bit of grit and determination he had.

Cole is preceded in death by father, Walter Clifton Sr., brothers, Walter Clifton Jr., Timothy Clifton and aunt, Beverly Wakefield.

He is survived by wife, Sabrina Clifton, son, Peyton Clifton, daughters, Nicole Sergi (Von), Holly Meyer (Nick), Chaezeney Haefele (Lucas), Taylor Honeycutt (Kevin), mother, Dana Clifton, sister, Crystal Wrape (Scott), brother in law, Michael Granstaff, grandchildren, Emily Hashert, Zachary Meyer, Hollis Haefele, Arthur Honeycutt, nieces, Paige Granstaff, Gracie Granstaff, Izzy Granstaff, Madison Wrape, and Sarah Wrape.

Family night will be Friday, August 4, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at Wise Funeral Home. The following day Saturday, August 5, 2023 the family would like you to join them for a graveside service starting at 10am, Willow Wild Cemetery, Bonham, Texas.
