Memorial services for Doris Clynese "Clyn" Kyer, 82, of Tyler, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at the Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703. Rev. Matt Stone will officiate. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time Friday at Stewart Family Funeral Home. Clyn passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Mustang Creek Estates of Frisco.
Clyn was born Jan. 23, 1935 in Booneville, Mississippi, the daughter of Marion Wheeler Davis and Vena Harp Davis. She was a graduate of Booneville High School. Clyn was a member of Dayspring United Methodist Church in Tyler where she enjoyed Bible study. She was a member of the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and loved gardening and shopping. Clyn was preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and sisters and her former spouse, George Kyer (1995).

Son, Pat Kyer and wife, Kate of Honey Grove, Texas
Daughter, Jeanne Patterson and husband, Steve of Frisco, Texas
Sisters, Ann Gholston of Kenosha, Wisconsin
Bettie Bateman and husband, Donny of Yuma, Arizona
Numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
