Clyde Earl Taylor Jr. was born on December 10, 1960, in Lorenzo, Texas, and passed away on July 6, 2026, in Celina, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.
Clyde followed in his mother’s footsteps and became an ironworker, a profession that reflected his hardworking nature and his willingness to meet life’s demands with grit and perseverance.
In addition to his dedication to work, Clyde found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the anticipation and tradition of deer season. He also spent time working on his truck, a pastime that suited his practical nature and his appreciation for hands-on work.
Clyde was known by many as a hard worker, a stubborn man, and an honest one. These qualities, along with his spirited personality, defined the way he lived and the way he was remembered.
He is preceded in death by father, Clyde Earl Taylor Sr., grandparents, Bob and Rosa Lee Barcheers, Charlie and Emma Taylor, siblings, Vickie Rosa Lee Taylor, Charles Phillip Taylor, and nephew, Robert McCormick. Clyde is survived by children, Danea Taylor, Clyde E. Taylor III, mother, Nadine Roberts, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters, Carliss Haltom, Andrea Brownrigg, brother, Charles Robert “Pete” Taylor, and numerous extended family members.
