Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bonham, TX. Claude passed away early Monday at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab in Bonham.
Claude was born Oct. 13, 1947 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Hilliard Rayford and Rebecca Elizabeth Nelson Rayford. He attended Booker T. Washington School in Bonham. Claude was a self-employed handyman. He attended Union Baptist Church and loved to fish, sing and cook. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bridget Stone, his parents, 10 brothers and 2 sisters.
Claude is survived by
2 Sons, Chris Hughes of Sherman, TX and Gerald Robinson; 2 Daughters, Rebecca Sanders and husband, Dewayne of Chesapeake, VA,and Robin LeShaw Sherman, TX,
1 Brother, Palmer Rayford and wife, Audrey of Bonham, TX,
10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
