Christopher Dyess

Graveside Services for Christopher Dyess, age 75, of Ravenna, Texas will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at Bettes Cemetery in Ivanhoe, Texas under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Hubert Dyess will officiate. Christopher passed away Thursday evening, April 22, 2021 at his home in Ravenna, Texas.

Christopher was born on January 29, 1946 in Columbia, Mississippi, the son of W. R. Dyess and Betty Lois Beard Dyess. He married Bonnie Bledsoe on November 21, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Bonnie Bledsoe-Dyess of Ravenna, Texas; brothers, Edward P. Dyess of Columbia, Mississippi and Hubert A. Dyess of Columbia, Mississippi; sisters, Wendy Dyess Graham of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Janis Dyess Bozeman of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, April 29, 2021.
