Funeral services for Charlotte Goodin, age 85, of Ector, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday May 28, 2014 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brown and Rev. Normous Free will officiate. Burial will follow in Willow Wild Cemetery. Charlotte passed away late Friday, May 23, 2014 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham.
Charlotte was born October 30, 1928 in Defiance, Ohio, the daughter of Carl Archambeault and Clearetta Bauman Archambeault. She attended nursing school in California. Charlotte married Benjamin Franklin Goodin on September 30, 1946 in Yuma, Arizona, and he preceded her in death January 17, 2006. She was one of ten children. She had six children of her own and fostered thirteen children and neighbor children. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Donald Lee Goodin, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Charlotte was loved by all. She will be greatly missed.
Charlotte is survived by three daughters, Brenda Brookins of Huntington Beach, California, Balinda Chism of Ector, Texas and
Carla Lawson of Bonham, Texas; two sons, James Goodin of Honey Grove, Texas and Ronald Goodin of Ector, Texas; one brother, David Archambeault of Fallbrook, California; two sisters, Angela Ayers and Elizabeth Fredricks both of California; grandchildren, Ashley, Anthony, Michael, Rainey, Misty, Jason, Robert, Shanda, Carrie, Amy, Amber and Laura; great grandchildren, Veda, Haylee, Anna, Lilly, Nate, Hannah, Laila, Max, Noah, Tucker, Calista and Garrett.
Pallbearers will be Robby Pense, Donnie Lollis, Jimmy Barnes, Marshall Underwood, Rocky Carmon and Jeff Allen.
