Memorial services for Charles Don Roberts, 77, of Gober, will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at Gober Baptist Church under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Ricky Roberts, his son, will officiate. Charles passed away Thursday morning, July 7, 2016 at his residence.
Charles was born April 3, 1939 in Fannin County, Texas, the son of W. M. "Dub" Roberts and Amy Norene Green Roberts. He was a graduate of Gober High School. Charles had a love for the game of basketball and played for the Gober Plow Boys and also for Weatherford Jr. College. He was a farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Timothy West Roberts (1985).
He is survived by his Son, Ricky Roberts and wife, Stacy of Gober, Texas; Daughters, Judith Ann Wilson and husband, Todd, and Sabrina Ramirez and husband, Sotero, all of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Sister, Janie Lambert of Elwood, Texas; Grandchildren, Nikki Jenkins and husband, Thomas, Nicole Eldridge and husband, Billy, Mindy Moss and husband, Gideon, Nathan Roberts and wife, Katelyn, Tyler Wilson and wife, Jennifer, Tate Ramirez, Madison Ramirez, Tanner Ramirez and Ryan Wilson; and Great Grandchildren, Weston Lee Tubb, Sophie Moss, Rafe Jenkins, Charlie Grace Eldridge and Owen Thomas Wilson.
