Graveside services for Charles Ray "Papa" Pratt, 72, of Bonham, will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 at Hampton Cemetery, Edhube under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. John Lindsey will officiate. Charles passed away Friday morning, October 2, 2015 at his residence.

Charles was born November 21, 1942 in Randolph, Texas, the son of Paul D. Pratt and Lila Rigsby Pratt. He attended Randolph and Leonard schools and married Connie Sims on February 3, 1967. Charles was a member of Edhube Baptist Church. Charles was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He loved calf roping and horses and working in his shop and was a truck driver by trade. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; Jo Nita Lewis.

Wife of 48 years: Connie Pratt of Bonham, TX

Sons: Grady and Cynthia Pratt of Bonham

Richard Pratt of Bonham

Brothers: Larry and Amy Pratt of Ravenna

Gaylon and Debbie Pratt of Joaquin TX

Sister: Virginia and Bobby Todd of Trenton

Mother-in-law: Winona Samples of Blue Ridge

Brother-in-law: John Lewis

Grandchildren: James (J.L.), Shelby and Chase



Pallbearers will be James (J.L.) Pratt, Chase Whitten, Jonathan Fox, Mikey Dobbles, Rebel Peeler and Hayden Sadler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stetson Buckaloo and Kollin Frazier.



Mr. Pratt will lie in state at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham on Saturday and Sunday until graveside services and you may sign the register at the funeral home or online at www.wisefuneralhome.com.
