A cremation was held for Charles Robert Nooney, 60, of Ladonia, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at Red River Regional Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.
Charles was born May 28, 1954 in Penn Yan, New York, the son of Ward Nooney and Harriet Kerr Nooney. He was a graduate of Hudson, New York High School and Texas A&M Commerce with a bachelor's degree in social services. Charles married the love of his life, Patricia Clark on June 11, 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He attended the Morman Church in Bonham. He enjoyed playing with his great grandchildren, reading and watching Star Trek. Charles was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his wife, Patricia Nooney of Ladonia, Texas; son, Billy Morris (Michelle) of Fort Rucker, Alabama; daughters, Kristen Nooney of Ladonia, Texas, Shelly Scott (Chris) of Sanger, Texas, Rebecca Morris of Wynantskill, New York, Lisa Preston (Kyle) of Ector, Texas, Jessica Davis of Bonham, Texas; brother, Joseph Nooney (Ellen) of Niverville, New York; grandchildren, Riley, Wesley, Brittany, Marc, Ryan, Ross, Miranda, Robert, Cody, and Sierra; Great Grandchildren, Traylen, Sophie, Dallas, Gabby, Leighana, Jaelynne, Lane, Kenadie, and Bradyn; several nieces and nephews.
