Memorial services celebrating the life of Charlene Cary, 67, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 1, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Brad Dardaganian and Bill Terry will officiate. Charlene passed away Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at Medical City in Dallas, Texas.

Charlene was born November 24, 1945 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Charlie W."CW" Fowler and Oretha Carr Fowler. She was a 1964 graduate of Frederick, Oklahoma High School and received her Associates degree from Cameron University. She married Joe Cary on March 15, 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Her family was number one to her. She loved being involved with her children's activities and spending time with her grandchildren and friends. Charlene was a homemaker and enjoyed shopping, gardening, decorating and taking care of her lawn and pool. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Jimmy Ripley.

Daughters, Renee Wiggins and husband, Rob of Sherman, TX

Crista Kaylor and husband, Carl of Wichita Falls, TX

Sister, Charlett Fowler Ripley of Frederick, OK

Grandchildren, Jordyn Kaylor, Cameron Kaylor, Chasen and Chesley Cherry, Bailey, Audrey and Adaline Wiggins, and Brooke and Ben Cary

Great grandchild, Costyn Robinson

Nephew, Craig Ripley and wife, Cari

Great niece and nephew, Jimmy and Jenna Ripley

The family will receive friends at the Williams Educational Bldg of First Presbyterian Church following the service.

Memorials in her honor may be made to the Charlene Cary trust fund at Fannin Bank.
