Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Deal, 54, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Northside Church of Christ in Bonham. Weldon Flemings will officiate. Burial will follow in Gates Hill Cemetery in Bonham. Carolyn passed away Tuesday night, October 14, 2014 at Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman.
Carolyn was born September 3, 1960 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of James Lee Smith, Sr. and Martha Faye Fuller Smith. She was a graduate of Bonham High School. Carolyn was employed with Emerson-Fisher for a number of years and liked to cook and play softball. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bonham. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother and three brothers, Fredrick Smith, baby Smith and Claude Bell, Jr.
Surviving are her sons, Andre Smith and LaFayette Dunlap, both of Bonham, Texas, Tony Smith and wife, Misty of Fredrick, Oklahoma and
Robert Perry of Sherman, Texas; Father, James Lee Smith, Sr. of Bonham, Texas; Special father, Claude Bell of Bonham, Texas; Grandmother, Ella Mae Fuller of Bonham, Texas; Brothers, James Lee Smith, Jr. and wife, Susie of Savoy, Texas and Donnie Smith of Fort Worth, Texas; Sisters, Patricia Crossland and husband, Rickey, and Sandra Kay Williams and husband, Rickey, all of Bonham, Texas and
Barbara Nelson and husband, Brian of St. Paul, Minnesota; Stepsisters and Stepbrothers, Nikki Bell, Keith Bell and Derrick Bell, all of Denison, Texas, Jackie Matthews, Shasta Giles, and Jeanette Bell all of Garland, Texas, Nancy Montgomery and husband, David, and Debra Ann Johnson and husband, Darren, all of Fort Worth, Texas and Bernice Howard of Tulsa, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren,
several aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Terry Perry, Jeremy Smith, Devin Smith, Wendell Smith, Willie Smith, Rusty Austin and Tony Perry.
Family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014.
