Carol Edwin Clark passed away on Thursday March 4, 2021 at the age of 82, at Medical City of Plano, Plano, Texas. Carol was born on July 21, 1938 to Fred Clark and Rachel Collum Clark.
Carol was a graduate of Dodd City High School and served in the military. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He worked for Jimmy Dunn at Moran's Furniture Store, Smith-Moore-Williams, Deputy Sheriff under Sam Patton in the early 80's, The Bonham VA Center and Walmart. He had fun teasing and sometimes you did not know how to take him. Carol volunteered his free time at the Fannin County Food Pantry where he found them to be like family, who he loved greatly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, R.L. & Jean Clark. A niece Janet Corley and a nephew Jeff Kennedy. Brothers in law Sonny Barber, Earl Kennedy, Albert Earl Lackey and Charley Holloway.
He is survived by a son Tracy Mize and wife Tammy Mize, grandson Hunter of Bonham, brother Harold Clark and wife Beavely of Dallas and Freddie Clark of Bonham, sisters Dorothy Barber and Lois Kennedy of Bonham, Betty Lackey of Dodd City, Virginia Peebles and husband Jimmy of Honey Grove and Brenda Holloway of N. Little Rock, Arkansas., and numerous nieces and nephews.
