Calvin Wilson

Calvin "Paw Paw" Wilson age 77, of Bonham, TX passed away surrounded by his loving family on February 3, 2024. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.

Calvin was born on March 1, 1946 to Fred and Beulah Wilson in Bonham, TX. To know Calvin was to love him. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family and steadfast faith. In his spare time you could find Calvin in the kitchen cooking one of his favorite dishes or baking. His favorite times were spent with his family around the dining room table. When he wasn't cooking, Calvin could be found outside or watching football. Of all the hobbies and enjoyment in life nothing could compare to being a Paw Paw. He loved his grandchildren with all of his heart and soul. When you hear a good jazz song or see a beautiful sunset we will think of Calvin and smile.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Beulah Wilson, daughter, Bridget Wilson and son, Carlon Wilson.

He leaves behind his wife, Edna Wilson of Bonham, TX, children, Rodney Wilson and wife Marsha of Sherman, TX, Quincy Wilson and wife Taree of Allen, TX, and Khalilah Wilson-Ross and husband Tony of Bonham, TX along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Please join the family on Friday, February 9, 2024 @ Wise Funeral Home for visitation from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 10, 2024 at New Life C.O.G.I.C, 917 N. Main St, Bonham, TX at 11am. Burial will follow at Gates Hill Cemetery.
