Funeral Services for Bryant Stockton, age 57, of Ector, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kevin Lane will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Carson Cemetery in Ector, Texas. Bryant passed away Wednesday night, June 10, 2020 in Ector, Texas.

Bryant was born on October 1, 1962, the son of Harold Gene Stockton and Peggy June Skelton Stockton. On March 8, 1985, Bryant married Shelly Jane Coldiron in Bonham, Texas. They raised 3 sons together and were married for 35 years before his passing. Bryant enjoyed riding his Harley and enjoyed dirt track racing in his 30's. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a jack of all trades and often found enjoyment in fixing things. Bryant will be sorely missed by many. He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Angela Lively; step dad, Lawrence Thompson; brother, Dwain Stockton; father and mother in law, Harrel and Wilma Coldiron; brother in law, Ronnie Coldiron, and nephew Hunter Coldiron.

Bryant is survived by wife, Shelly Stockton of Ector, Texas; mother, Peggy Thompson of Bailey, Texas; sons, Jesse Stockton and Brandy Nichols from Ector, Texas; Shelby Stockton and wife Caitlin of Ector, Texas, and Preslei Stockton of the home; brothers, Tom Stockton and Wanda Cecil of Dodd City, Texas, Jackie Stockton of Bonham, Texas, Danny Martin and wife Carrie of Crandall, Texas, Ricky Thompson of Ambrose, Texas, Larry Thompson and wife Frannie of Bailey, Texas; sisters, Sondra (Misty) Cook and husband Tommy of Crandall, Texas, Jodi Murkerson and husband Steve of Bradenton, Florida, Teresa Martin of Farmersville, Texas; grandson, Jaxxon Stockton; step-mother, Glenda Brown of Pleasant Grove, Texas; nieces, Stacy Hilliard, Beth Hilliard, Ashley Cain, Sierra Stockton, Amanda Barsi, Samantha Coldiron, Rylee Coldiron, Courtney Shannon, and Megan Martin; nephews, Josh Coldiron, Noah Stockton, Christopher Stockton, Bradlee Coldiron, and Logan Murkerson; uncles, Mike Stockton and wife Kathy of Ivanhoe, Bobby Stockton and wife Lisa of Lake Tawakoni, Texas; aunts, Betty Mahan and husband Bill of Rockwall, Texas, Barabra Ross and husband Ray of Greenville, Texas, Brenda Stockton of Dallas, Texas, and Rozelle Riley of Bonham, Texas. Also extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Butch Baker, Stan Baker, Bradlee Coldiron, Josh Coldiron, and Ronnie Shores.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home on Sunday, June 14, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
