Bruce Aubrey Boyd

Bruce Aubrey Boyd passed away on September 10, 2024 at his home in Plano, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.

Bruce was born in Dallas, TX to Don and Nancy Boyd on February 11, 1969. Bruce grew up and spent the majority of his life in Plano, TX. He was a graduate of Plano East Senior High, class of 1987. Bruce loved the great outdoors. He was most content when he was deer hunting and fishing. He also was a dog lover, and always had a dog throughout all stages of his life. Some of his favorite childhood memories were spent with his grandparents and cousins. He will be fondly remembered for his gracious and kind spirit.

Bruce was a true genius in matters of computer and cyber security and was a Certified Cyber Security engineer. He loved learning and was always on the search for new educational opportunities to enhance his own knowledge. In his spare time you would find Bruce working in his yard. He always took great pride in the care of his lawn at his home. He enjoyed cooking and searching for new recipes. Barbecue was his all time favorite to cook or smoke, always looking for ways to perfect a brisket.

Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Nancy Boyd. He is survived by his sister Amy Brooks and husband Pat of New Braunfels, TX. A graveside service for Bruce will be Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00am @ Arledge Ridge Cemetery in Bonham. In lieu of flowers please donate to the City House of Plano.
