Brenda Sue Wheless

Brenda Sue Wheless passed away January 11, 2019 at her home.  She was born July 26, 1947 in Bonham to Alford Pinkston and Bertha May Colbert Pinkston.  She married Jessie Allen Wheless on October 30, 1964 in Dodd City, TX.  Over the years, Brenda spent time as a stay at home mom, working in retail and as a bookkeeper.  Brenda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, as well as a friend who was always willing to lend an ear to those in need and welcome them into her life as family with an open heart. She was an inspiration to us all, the glue that held the family together and will be greatly missed by us all.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Alford Dolphin Pinkston & Bertha May Colbert Pike; sister, Ruthie Bennett.

Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Jessie Allen Wheless; two sons, Bryan Wheless and wife Tammy of Bonham and Phillip Wheless and husband Donald Allen of McKinney; two grandchildren,  Mark Wheless and wife Ashley of Bonham and Kali Horsley and husband Logan of Honey Grove; two great-grandchildren,  Arilyn Hopkins and Emma Horsley; two brothers, Buddy Pinkston, Tommie Pinkston and their wives, all of Bonham.;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins

Cremation arrangements under the care and direction of Wise Funeral Home. No services will be held.
