Bradford "Bud" Miller

Graveside services for Bradford "Bud" Miller, 97, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, April 8, 2013 in Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Cody Nelson and Chaplain Robert Bailey will officiate. Bud passed away Friday morning, April 5, 2013 at his residence.

Bud was born August 31, 1915 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Sam Bradford Miller and Minnie Ethel Leatherwood Miller. A lifelong resident of Bonham, he graduated from Bonham High School in 1933. In 1936, Bud began his career in finances at First National Bank where he worked for 18 years. He became the Fannin County Auditor in 1954 and retired in 1982. Bud was a charter member of Seventh & Main Baptist Church where he sang in the Chapel Choir and served as church treasurer for over 50 years. Following his retirement, he became an election official for both the county and the city. Bud was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, H. R. "Speedy" Miller, three sisters, Hazel Keene, Doris King and Mary Katherine Grunert and a special brother-in-law, Richard "Dick" Grunert.

He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews including niece, Gail Morris and husband, John of Sachse, TX, nephew, Jim Grunert and wife, Karen of Cleburne, TX;
great nieces and nephews, Kelli M. Cooper and husband, Brad of Montgomery, TX, Jodi M. Newman and husband, Ryan of Rowlett, TX,
Jaimie G. Moss and husband, Steve of Little Rock, AR, Jon Grunert of New York City, NY, and
Justin Grunert of Cleburne, TX,
Great Great nieces and nephews, Konnor Cooper, Kennedi Cooper, Avery Newman and Ella Newman.
