Bobby Jack Purser

Funeral Services for Bobby Jack Purser, 58, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 9 ^th , 2022 at The Chapel of Wise Funeral Home. Pastor Ricky Richardson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Gober Cemetery with fellowship to continue at the Purser's home.  Bobby Jack passed away Friday Morning, March 4 ^th , 2022, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, after a short battle with lung cancer.

Bobby Jack was born July 14 ^th , 1963 in McKinney, TX.  The son of Henry & Jewell Purser.  He married the love of his life, Sheila Hale Purser in 1986 in McKinney Texas.  He was a devoted husband, dad, and his favorite title, Papa. He was an entrepreneur with many successful businesses throughout the years including Professional Paint Contractor for 20 years & National Recognized Retriever Trainer for over 15 years, until he retired in Bonham Texas.  Since then, he spent his time as a skilled craftsman building his own home, piece by piece with love.  He enjoyed working on his land, the outdoors, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with his family.  He respected nature and loved all animals. He cherished his relationship with our Lord, and always lead by example.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, Jack Kerby, and his sister, Joann Kennedy.

Bobby Jack leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Sheila Purser of Bonham, Two daughters, Traci Cherry and husband, Chasen of Pottsboro, & Kerby Purser and partner, Jerid Rutledge of Bonham.  Two sons Bobby Jack Purser Jr of Wimberley, and Larry Williams and wife Hillary of Anna.  Three grandchildren, Caroline Cherry & Lukas & Leland Williams, three brothers, Floyd Purser and wife Elsie of Blue Ridge, Carl Purser of Farmersville, Arthur Purser, & many nieces and nephews.
