Bobby Eugene Mcfarlin

Private graveside services for Mr. Bobby Eugene McFarlin, age 92, of Bonham, Texas, were held at the West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home in Bonham, Texas.

Bobby was born on August 6, 1927 in Bonham, the son of Fred Herman McFarlin and Helen Gohl McFarlin.  He married Nettie Bernice Judge on February 1, 1947 in Bonham, Texas and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2018.  He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII.  Bobby was an avid golfer and was often seen playing with his friends at the Bonham Country Club where he enjoyed the comradery of everyone he came in contact with.  He greeted everyone with the term "little podner" and never met a stranger. Bobby adored his wife and their family and friends.He was preceded death by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter, Bobette Mazy and husband Dan of Early, Texas and two grandchildren, Tony Mazy and wife Robin of North Richland Hills, Texas and Brandon Mazy and wife Kathleen of Brownwood, Texas, two great grandchildren, Lindsey Dawn Mazy and Emma Rose Mazy and his brother, Jack McFarlin of Bonham.
