Bobby Clark Jones

Bobby Clark Jones Passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024 at Clyde W. Cosper State Veterans Home.

Bobby was born May 7, 1946 to parents Verdon and Bernice Jones in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.  Bobby served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged and then went on to work for GTE.  Bobby worked his way up over the years to management positions, and obtained his bachelors degree in 1991. Bobby retired in 2004 to be an avid golfer and a regular fixture at the Paris Golf and Country Club.

Bobby is preceded in death by both parents.

He is survived by his son, Austin Jones, sisters, Barbara Wood Stratford, Sherion Kinsaul Goldsby, and Pamela Roberts Stover Jones.

Bobby will be cremated according to his wishes, and will be scattered at a location that was dear to his heart. His family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Clyde W. Cosper State Veterans Home in Bonham, TX for taking such great care of him during his final months.
