Bobby Jack Havens

Funeral Services for Bobby Jack Havens, age 85, of McKinney, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Bro. Mike Burt will officiate. Burial will follow at Duplex Cemetery. Bobby passed away Sunday morning, December 19, 2021, at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in McKinney, Texas.

Bobby was born on November 27, 1936, in Leonard, Texas, the son of Homer Davis Havens and Mary Evelyn Saye Havens. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1957-1959. Bobby married Beverly Rose Gibbs on August 12, 1967, in Durant, Oklahoma. They were married for 54 years prior to his passing. Bobby was an avid hunter. He would often go deer hunting in Wyoming with his nephew. He enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Bobby worked for Teamsters Trucking and retired in 1998. He will be greatly missed. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Ronda Marie Havens, Helen Regina Havens, and Debra Lynn Standifer; and sister, Cathy Margaret Hawkins.

Bobby leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Beverly Havens of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Dorothy Renee Havens of Lake Fork, Texas and Rebecca LaNell Morrison of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Karen Michelle McConnell, Mindy Holcomb, Wendy Holcomb, Bobby Jack Singleton, Ramon Carrasco, and Ethan Paul Spears; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home Chapel Monday, December 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m.
