Bobby Dean "Buffalo" Danner

Funeral services for Bobby Dean "Buffalo" Danner, 71, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 15, 2016 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dennis Stewart will officiate. Burial will follow in Owens Chapel Cemetery. Bobby passed away Monday, July 11, 2016 at Traditions Senior Living in Sherman.
Bobby was born August 8, 1944 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Willard Danner and Bertha Ann Calhoun Danner. He was a 1962 graduate of Bonham High School where he played coronet in the band. A true lover of music, Bobby played the bass guitar, acoustic guitar, steel guitar and keyboard. He had his own band "Buffalo Country" for several years and later played with a number of other bands. He played for the Denison SNAP Center every Thursday for many years. Bobby was involved with his children's sporting events and coached a number of teams. He enjoyed watching and collecting movies. Bobby loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, his mother, Bertha Ann Hamner (2016), a brother, Jimmy Leon Danner, and a sister, Barbara Danner Kennedy.
Bobby is survived by two Sons, Bobby Eugene Danner and wife, Kimberly of Sherman, Texas and Jim Ed Danner of Astoria, New York; two
Daughters, Mary Ann Danner Taylor and husband, Kurt of Bonham, Texas and Sara Elizabeth Danner Johnson and husband, Ronnie of Denison, Texas; Sister, Shirley Ann Washburn of Bonham, Texas; 8 Grandchildren, Tyler Danner, Keegan Danner, Cassey Ann Barr and husband, Billey, Amber Taylor, Dakota Taylor, Dalton Johnson, Dayla Johnson and Darcie Johnson; Great Grandchildren, Dreygan, Jeter and Zachary Worley, Makayla, Colby an Erabella Gann; and a number of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Johnson, Kurt Taylor, Dakota Taylor, Dalton Johnson, Tyler Danner and Danny Kennedy.
