Bina Smith

The epitome of love personified that was Bina Drucilla Smith, the oldest sibling of Jim and Viola Ramey. Bina Smith was born February 2, 1907 in Fannin County and died 104 years, 1 month and 24 days later on March 26, 2011. She was a graduate of Ector High School. Bina married Frank Smith on February 2, 1937 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 1969. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church in Bonham. She was the last survivor of a family of six children, all of whom preceded her in death. These siblings were Winnie Mae Whitehead, Cecil Oleta Carry, Arta Belle Blackburn, James Euyal Ramey, and Lois Katherine Wright.

And a host of family and friends

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel, Bonham. Rev. Rodney Sprayberry will officiate. Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery, Ector.

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until service time Wednesday.
