Billy Harold Fuller, age 79, of Bonham, Texas, peacefully departed this life on July 4, 2026.
Billy was born on February 12, 1947 to the union of Paul Phillip Fuller and Ella Mae Fuller. He received his formal education in the Bonham Independent School District and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Bonham, Texas, in 1965. Billy always loved looking back on his high school days at Booker T. Washington where he proudly wore the number 33 as a standout player.
In 1967, Billy married Lessie Virginia Williams and they went on to raise a wonderful family together. Their union was blessed with four children, whom Billy loved and was very proud of.
Billy dedicated more than 30 years of service to General Cable in Bonham, Texas. Through his hard work and dedication, he faithfully provided for his family, making sure they had not only the necessities of life but many of its joys as well. Above all else, Billy treasured his family. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved, attending sporting events, traveling, and creating lasting memories with his family. Billy was also an active member of the Progressive Citizens Association.
Billy was a member of New Home Baptist Church in Bonham, Texas. He was under the spiritual leadership of Pastor Gene E. Reddick. Billy served as Chairman of the Deacon board for many years, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and sang in the choir. His faith remained an important part of his life and served as a foundation throughout the years.
He is preceded in death by by his parents, Paul Phillip Fuller and Ella Mae Fuller; his infant daughter, Rona Demille Fuller; his brothers, Paul L. Fuller, Robert Milton Fuller, Joel Fuller, and Kenneth Don Fuller; and his sisters, Martha Faye Smith, Sandra A. Alberty, Peggy Joyce Fuller, and Wanda Mae Boyd.
Billy leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 59 years, Lessie Virginia Williams Fuller of Bonham, Texas; his children, Robyn Renee Fuller of Plano, Texas, Bradly Leon Fuller of Sherman, Texas and Kristalyn Deneice Fuller of Sherman, Texas; his grandchildren, Joshua Cole Fuller, and wife Kanyon, of Irving, Texas; Alexis Nicole Fuller of McKinney, Texas; Aaron Kendall Fuller and wife, Taylor of Frisco, Texas; Lauryn Kennedy Fuller of McKinney, Texas; and Avery Brock Fuller of McKinney, Texas; one treasured great-granddaughter, Harlow Brynn Fuller of Irving, Texas; his sisters, Shirley Ann Massey of Dallas, Texas; Paulette King of Shoreline, Washington, Juanita R. Yarbrough of Center, Texas; Sally Ann Robinson of Dallas, Texas; and brother, William E. Fuller of Dallas, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. Though Billy's earthly journey has ended, the impact of his life will continue through the family he loved.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Wise Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Gates Hill Cemetery, Bonham, TX.
