Billie Jean Tracy Woodson, 83, a resident of Carrollton passed away on May 22, 2017. Billie was born in Bonham, Texas to John Tracy and Hettie Katherine Taylor Tracy on January 23, 1934. She graduated from Bonham High School and worked for the phone company in Riverside, California for several years. She also worked a number of years at Texas State Optical in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Billie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She shared with her husband, Neil, a love that began in a skating rink in Bonham in 1951 and lasted throughout her life. They married July 5, 1952 in Bonham, Texas. She was a stay-at-home mom to son, Ken and took great pride in seeing him grow into a loving, dependable and successful person. She also shared her love with her grandsons, Bryan and Jeff. Some of her most unforgettable memories were of Bryan and Jeff's activities in school, sports, and band, and of family time spent together at Lake Lydia in East Texas.

Billie is preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Tracy Jr. and sister, Linda Bottoms. She is survived by her husband, Neil Woodson of Carrollton, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Joyce Woodson of Carrollton, TX; grandson, Bryan Christopher Woodson, his wife, Ashley of Frisco, TX, great grandchildren, Addyson and Carter; grandson, Jeffrey Woodson and his wife, Whitney of McKinney, TX; and sister, Pat Mueller of Bonham, TX; numerous cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

A visitation will be held at Wise Funeral Home in Bonham at 1:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2017. Graveside services will be held at Willow Wild Cemetery in Bonham at 2:00 PM Friday. Rev. Rick Edwards will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
