Graveside services for Willie Lee "Bill" Castle, 97, of Bonham, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 in Willow Wild Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Bro. Mark Posey will officiate. Bill passed away Thursday morning, Aug. 18, 2016 at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab.
Bill was born Dec 24, 1918 in Fannin County, Texas, the son of Orville Frank Castle and Sallie Lassiter Castle. He attended Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed the Church fellowship meals. Bill married Ruth Maude Crow on March 1, 1939 in Greenville, Texas, and she preceded him in death July 25, 2010. He enjoyed playing 42 and spending time with his family. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, William Ray "Bill" Castle and Bobby Glen Castle, and 9 brothers and 10 sisters.
Bill is survived by two Sons, Eldon Castle and wife, Rita of Ivanhoe, Texas and Robert Castle and wife, Janice of Bonham, Texas;
Daughter, Linda Coston and husband, F. Wayne of Durant, Oklahoma;
Daughter-in-law, Janie Castle of Bonham, Texas; two Brothers, Earl Castle of DeSoto, Texas and Charles Castle of Bonham, Texas;
Sisters, Clois Smith of Bonham, Texas and Lois Staley of Ladonia, Texas; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Manna House, 914 S. 5th St., Bonham, TX 75418.
