Betty Ann Hubbert

Funeral services for Betty Ann Hubbert, 80, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rex Jackson will officiate. Betty passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at her residence.

Betty was born July 27, 1932 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Howard Lewis Blount and Cassie Pearl Vermillion Blount. She married John Milton "Ted" Hubbert on June 18, 1950 in Sandia, Texas. Betty was a member of Boyd Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, needle work, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty was employed with Texas Instruments for 22 years before her retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Robert Blount.

Betty is survived by one daughter, Jan Pearson and husband, Keith of Ravenna, TX,
three sons, Teddy Hubbert of Bonham, TX, John Hubbert, Jr. and wife, Beth of Sherman, TX, and Joe Hubbert and wife, Jill of Fairfield, TX; two brothers, James Blount and wife, Dodie of Denison, TX and David Blount and wife Opel of Sherman, TX; two sisters, Kay McClain of Jefferson, TX and
Janet Bledsoe and husband, Bob of Georgetown, TX; sister-in-law, Marjorie Cockerham of Carthage, TX (formerly of Bonham); ten grandchildren, Kristin Pearson, April and Jedidiah Hatfield, Shelley and Justin Lee, Pate Hubbert and fiance, Catelyn Jeffrey, Cassie Hubbert, Molly & Alex Doyle, Sally Hubbert, Sam Hubbert, Micah Hubbert, and Grant Hubbert; two great grandchildren, Pearson Lee and Kane Hatfield and baby girl Hatfield on the way;
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Pallbearers will be Grant Hubbert, Micah Hubbert, Sam Hubbert and Pate Hubbert.
