Betty Jo Branch

Funeral Services for Betty Jo Branch, age 58 of Bonham, TX will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bonham, TX, under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Stuart Courtney. Interment will follow at St. Mark Cemetery in Dodd City, Texas. Betty was born May 1, 1959 in Bonham, Texas and passed away in Denison, Texas on April 22, 2018.  She was the daughter of Miller Branch and Roselene Harvey Branch.

She grew up in Bonham and graduated from Bonham High School.  She was an employee at TXU for over 10 years.  Betty sought Christ at an early age and was a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church.  She served in the Prayer Counsel Ministry and the choir.  She loved God, praying for others, giving gifts, shopping at estate sales, and collecting jewelry.  Her grandchildren gave her great joy and she loved cheering them on in sports.

Betty was proceeded in death by her parents, her two brothers Billy Joe Branch and Bobby Joe Branch, three sisters Theresa Collins, Lavator Sesay and Savator Brown and her grandson Caleb Stevenson.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, daughter Roshanda Branch, grandchildren Hayden and Karis Stevenson of Bonham and their father Christopher Stevenson of Leonard, two sisters Arlene Yeager and husband Robert of Bonham, and Lenzy Cook of Arlington; three brothers, Miller Branch, Harold Branch and Franklin Branch all of Bonham.  She leaves a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at 6-8 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Wise Funeral Home.
