Graveside services for Beatrice Earl Seale Shockley, 98, of Bonham, will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2011 in Owens Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Rev. Gene Owen and Rev. Henry Shelton will officiate. Beatrice passed away early Friday morning, Aug. 26, 2011 at her residence.
Beatrice was born May 27, 1913 in Wortham, Texas, the daughter of Lottress Eugene Coplen and Fannie Frances Bertha Cole Coplen. She attended school in Kerns, Texas. Beatrice married Rev. Paul DeWitt Seale who preceded her in death in 1980. She was a longtime member of Trinity Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sons, Earl DeWitt Seale, William Rowland Seale, Bobby Joe Seale, Paul Edward Seale and Arthur Eugene Seale, 2 daughters, Theatie Pearl Seale and Nina Mae York, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
She is survived by ~
Daughter, Mary Louise Seale of Bonham, TX, 6 generations of Grandchildren, Numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
