Barton Craig King

In Loving Memory of Barton Craig King, 75, who passed away on April 27, 2025 while surrounded by his daughter and grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home, Bonham, TX.

Barton was a cherished family member, a loyal friend, and a source of strength and kindness to many. He is Survived by his daughters, grandchildren, great grand children, Sister Gayle, and many nieces and nephews. Barton spent his life enriching the lives of others through quiet generosity, strong values, and a deep appreciation for the simple things. He loved reading, gaining knowledge, playing the harmonica, cribbage, and being around people.

He was very proud of his service in the Army and his honest work ethics in life, which started while working the farm with his father when he was young. He is remembered with deep love by those whose lives he touched.

A Military Service will be held on May 21, 2025 at DFW National Cemetery at 11:15am. The family appreciates your thoughts and support during this time.
