Barbara Louise Winkler

Barbara Louise Winkler passed away peacefully at her home on July 24, 2023. Her faithful four legged companion Butch never left her side.

Barbara was born to parents JP and Louise Pond on November 17, 1945 in Irving, Texas. Barbara had a passion for all things horses. She loved riding and taking care of them especially her beloved horse Geronimo. Barbara was a woman of strong faith and enjoyed going to church. If Elvis came on the radio you would find her dancing in the kitchen and smiling that beautiful smile. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and devotion to her two sons, Travis and Tony.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, JP and Louise Pond, and first husband, Gene Winkler.

Survivors, sons, Travis Eugene Winkler (Sheryl), Tony Rex Winkler (Scott), brothers, Gary Pond, David Pond, sisters, Cathy Woodall (Larry), grandchildren, Brooke Bulaneck (Josh), Danyel Nash (Micah), Joshua Phillips, Jordan Phillips, Shannon Miles Johnson, along with 4 great-grandchildren, numerous extended family and friends.
