Memorial Graveside Services at Willow Wild Cemetery for Barbara Ann Smith, age 84, of Sherman, Texas are pending. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Barbara passed away Wednesday morning, February 2, 2022, at Focus Care of Sherman in Sherman, Texas.

Barbara was born on May 6, 1937, in Gilmer, Texas, the daughter of James Yancy Keith and Lillie Omega Haney Keith. She enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Barbara was a member of Ferguson St. Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Edward Smith and brothers, James Keith, Kenneth Keith, and Charles Keith; sisters, Janie Richards and Jeanie Keith.

Barbara is survived by her son, Mitchell Smith of Denison, Texas; daughter, Teresa Patterson and husband Michael of Sherman, Texas; brother, Dennis Michael Keith of Dallas, Texas; sister, Jonell Keith of Sherman, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Stedman and husband Eli, Adam Patterson, Alexey Patterson and husband Adam Lee; great grandchildren, Grayson Adams, Savanah Adams, Emma Adams, and Oliver Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
