Barbara Ann Morrell

A Visitation for Barbara Ann Morrell, age 74, of Bonham, Texas will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wise Funeral Home. Barbara passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Texoma Medical Center in Bonham, Texas.

Barbara was born on May 16, 1947, in Maryland, the daughter of W. E. Dawes and Mitzie Flora Anne Beeman Dawes. She worked in the medical field as a Telemetry Tech for over 35 years; working most recently at Texoma Medical Center in Bonham, Texas. Barbara attended Allen's Chapel Baptist Church. She painted most of her life; landscapes and animals being her favorite to paint. Barbara crocheted and knitted. She loved making booties for everyone. Crime and mystery novels were her favorite novels to read. Barbara will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Buddy Whiteman.

Barbara is survived by son, Christopher Morrell and wife Amber of Honey Grove, Texas; daughter, Lisa LeClere and husband Jeff of Honey Grove, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Scamp and wife Taryn, Stephanie Miller and husband Tommy, Jayden Limbert, Nathan Limbert, Hunter Limbert, and Maverick Morrell; and great grandchild, Noah Scamp.
