Barbara Sue Ball

A Celebration of Life for Barbara Ball, age 74, of Bonham, Texas will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at the home of Barbara and Charles Ball. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Barbara passed away Thursday morning, September 3, 2020, lovingly surrounded by family, at her home in Bonham, Texas.

Barbara was born on February 21, 1946 in Wolfe City, Texas, the daughter of James B. Fitzhugh and Freda Fern Crable Fitzhugh. She graduated from Corona High School in California. Barbara married Charles Harvey Ball on April 17, 1964 in Corona, California. They were married for 56 years before her passing. Barbara was the mother of four children, grandmother to fourteen grandchildren, and great grandmother to fifteen great grandchildren. Despite her large family, Barbara always made time for everyone. She was all about family; Barbara was more than happy to be the central figure in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew them knew that she was a star in their eyes, and that is all that ever mattered to her. Barbara was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael Fitzhugh and sister, Brenda Harrison.

Fond memories of Barbara will forever be remembered and cherished by her surviving family members; husband, Charles Ball of Bonham, Texas; son, Frank Ball and wife Jennifer of Sherman, Texas; daughters, Shelly Stephens and husband Charlie of Bonham, Texas; Anna Cartmill and husband Royce of Bonham, Texas, and Debbie Patton of Telephone, Texas; grandchildren, Staci Titsworth, Josh Patton, Dana Titsworth, Shane Patton and wife Faith, Mikah Titsworth, April Crutcher and husband Brian, Levi Patton, Jake Stephens, Dakoda Patton, Shelbi Titsworth, Clay Stephens, Reed Ball, Austin Wilkerson, and Tara Wilkerson; 15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
