A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017 at Wise Funeral Home for B. W. Tubb 77, of Bailey. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Joe Hunt will officiate. The interment will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at Little Bethel Cemetery in Duncanville, Texas. B. W. passed away Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 25, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
B. W. was born March 19, 1940 in Centerville, Texas, the son of Archie Sullivan Tubb and Thelma Estelle Douglas Tubb. He married Rosie Irlene Elledge on May 7, 1960 in Plainview, Texas. B. W. was a member and deacon of Bailey Bible Baptist Church. He was a Signal & Sign Foreman for the City of Duncanville for many years who loved mechanics and could fix anything with a hammer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and helping people. B. W. was preceded in death by his parents.
B. W. is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rosie Irlene Tubb of Bailey, TX; daughter, Penny Estelle Keith of Hutchins, TX; sons, Billy Wayne Tubb and Jimmy Lynn Tubb, both of Leonard, TX and Gary Don Tubb and wife, Ami of Royce City, TX; sister, Louise Peugh and husband, Melvin of Utah; brothers, Robert Earl Tubb and wife, Brenda of California, and Charles Wayne Tubb of Hutchins, TX; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
