Cremation Arrangements for Arleta Kaye Brown, age 64, of Telephone, Texas will be under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Arleta passed away Thursday afternoon, September 29, 2022, at her home in Telephone, Texas.

Arleta was born on January 11, 1958, the daughter of Ben Brown and Gloria Martin Brown. She attended North Texas Central College and Texas Women's University. Arleta was a Nurse Practitioner, working at Bonham Psychiatry for many years. Her passion was assisting those in need, especially those who suffered with psychiatric needs. She helped her patients by providing them with the best care. Her compassion was unfettered and given freely. Arleta was a long-time member of the American Nurses Association. In her free time Arleta enjoyed reading. When she was able to get away for vacation, she enjoyed cruising; her most favorite being when she and her mother traveled together. Arleta was a loving mother and sister. She will be greatly missed. Arleta is preceded in death by her parents.

Arleta leaves to cherish her memories her son, Jason Michael Brown of Krum, Texas; daughter, Carly Ervin of Muldrow, Oklahoma; brothers, Keith Brown and wife Rosemary of Argyle, Texas and Ben Michael Brown; sister, Sandra Smith and husband Roger of Lake Kiowa, Texas; grandchildren, Dylan Gavit, Logan Gavit, and Benjamin Jennings Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
