Araceli Cardona Reyes

Araceli Reyes (Cardona) passed away on October 16, 2018 in Dallas, Tx. She was the daughter of Juana Cardona Trejo and Fausto Cardona Perez. Araceli was born on December 7, 1960 in El Higo, Mex. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rigoberto Cardona. She is survived by her daughters, Abigail Reyes and Anali Walls and husband Keagan, sister, Elsa Rodriguez and husband Juan, brothers, Guadalupe Cardona, Randolfo Cardona, sisters, Leticia Cardona, Evelia Cardona and Reyna Cardona, and brother, Hector Cardona.

For nine years, Araceli was a product assembler at Clayton Homes Bonham where she worked installing trim, windows, and shelves. Also, Araceli was a faithful member and always attended services at Iglesia Hispana Jesus Es El Camino in Leonard, Tx.

Aside from being a mother, one of Araceli's joys in life was having the opportunity to lead the Bonham women's prison ministry since 2009. She loved sharing the word of God with the women and always showed tender compassion towards them. Araceli enjoyed spending time cooking, sewing, playing with her granddogs, and helping those less fortunate

Araceli arrived in Dallas, TX as an undocumented citizen in 1980 and after many years of hard work and studying, she became a proud citizen of the United States in 2000. She then later relocated to Trenton,TX with her daughters, Anali Walls and Abigail Reyes.

A service to celebrate the life of, Araceli Reyes, will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, October 21st at Iglesia Hispana Jesus es El Camino located at 112 W. Thomas St. Leonard, TX.

A gathering of family and friends will take place, beginning at 9am at the church.
