Anthony Joseph Kuehn Jr.

May 19, 1956 — February 24, 2025

The world lost the craziest human being that ever lived. Anthony Joseph Kuehn Jr. lovingly known as "Tony" and "Papa" to his grandchildren passed away unexpectedly at his home in Plano, Texas with his wife by his side on February 24, 2025.

Tony was born on May 19,1956 to Anthony Joseph Kuehn Sr. and Margaret Suhr Kuehn in North Tonawanda, New York.  Tony met his future bride at a gas station and right away Lue knew something was different about Tony. He was his own person and beat to his own drum. A hippie at heart, Tony promised to love and cherish his bride, and he did until his very last breath. They married on May 17, 1980, and shared over 4 decades of love, laughter, football games, and raising their daughter Kimberly. It wasn't just any football team it had to be the Buffalo Bills. A die-hard fan Tony introduced his baby girl to her first football game at 3 months old. He also delighted in taking Kimberly (he gave her the nickname Bug) to DCI (Drum Corp International) it became their "thing" that they enjoyed doing together.  Tony was proud of his talent as a scratch baker and enjoyed making delicious baked goods for his family. He was an amazing bread baker with Rye Bread as his favorite. Cherry Pies, brownies, and rolls were at the top of his list. He was also know as the "Grill master" because his ribs and brisket were like cotton candy in your mouth. Before Tony became disabled, he enjoyed playing frisbee golf as well.  When he had spare time and the Bill's weren't playing you could find Tony with a fishing rod in his hand or find him in his favorite part of the house, the garage, his man cave. He looked at life with a carefree spirit and enjoyed the simple things in life. Holding his precious great-granddaughter, playing a good game of poker, and traveling. Tony loved his country and was a Patriot.  He proudly flew the red, white, and blue at his home for 35 years. There will never be another Papa but his legacy of devotion to family, carefree personality, and funny sense of humor will live on through his family.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents and brother, George Kuehn.

Those left to carry on his one-of-a-kind spirit wife, Luella K. Kuehn, daughter, Kimberly "Bug" Presseisen and husband Joseph, granddaughters, Kallee Linan and husband Max, Zoey Michelle Presseisen, and his much-anticipated great-granddaughter, Emily Lucille "Emmy Lu", numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and father-in-law, Halsey Truesdale.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
