Annie Partain

Memorial services for Annie Partain, 85, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel. Annie passed away early Tuesday morning, Nov. 22, 2016 at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab in Bonham.

Annie was born Oct. 12, 1931 in Round Rock, Texas, the daughter of James Oscar Mott and Myrtle Townsend Mott. She was a graduate of Round Rock High School. Annie married Loyd Gene Partain on June 18, 1950 in Round Rock. They moved to Bonham from San Antonio in 1971 when they opened the Ben Franklin Store on the square. Annie and Loyd worked side by side for many years until they closed the store in 1991. She then opened and operated Frame N Things on the square in Bonham. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bonham, and taught Sunday School while in Georgetown. Annie was also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed oil painting, crafting and camping and fishing. She was known as a caregiver and loved helping others. Annie was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Edgar Mott and Charles Mott and two sisters, Leda Faye Wieland and Nora Dean Schneider.

Annie is survived by her Husband of 66 years, Loyd Partain of Bonham, Texas; Son, Stephen Bruce Partain and wife, Laura Lynn of Allen, Texas; Daughter, Susan Denise Hutchings of Garland, Texas
Brother, Oscar Mott of Taylor, Texas; Sister, Nathalie Kirk of Georgetown, Texas; four Grandchildren, Kevin Bruce Partain, Kimberly Lynn Partain, Sarah Ann Hutchings Cox and Stefanie Jaine Hutchings; four Great Grandchildren, Korbin Alan Boyd, Logan Elijah Hutchings, Ethan Graham Cox and Carter Wayne Gorman; Numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
